Dr. Michael Davies

In 2008 I started a law degree in London but dropped out after the first year deciding it wasn’t for me!

I then returned back home to St Ive’s and obtained a position at Cardiff University to study dentistry, working hard to overcome the wrong A-levels I had (fine art, history and English).

After 6 years in Cardiff, I commenced my first year as a qualified dentist in Kidderminster as a “Foundation Dentist” gaining valuable experience treating patients from all walks of life (but mostly patients with severe dental neglect).

After gaining valuable experience in Kidderminster I started at Brockley House Dental Practice in March 2017 as a GDP.

Since then I have developed a keen interest in restorative dentistry and am now partway through a three year Restorative Dental Practice masters degree at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London.

Future plans include the desire to develop private treatments that will allow me to deliver the highest quality dentistry possible. By doing the masters degree I am able to treat patients more comprehensively and offer more cosmetic treatments that are otherwise unavailable on the NHS. I would also like to get into dental education in the future as I enjoy working with other colleagues and helping whenever possible.

I am a dentist that believes strongly in quality over quantity; with the view that the best dentistry takes time and cannot be rushed. There is no way to cut corners and yet deliver exceptional quality dentistry that stands the test of time.
